AWS Class E308LT1-1/T1-4 Flux Core Wire generally consists of chromium (19–21%), nickel (9–11%), carbon (≤0.03%), manganese (1–2.5%), silicon (≤1%), and trace elements. Its low-carbon makeup helps reduce carbide precipitation and boosts corrosion resistance. The mechanical properties feature a tensile strength of about 550 MPa, yield strength near 350 MPa, and an elongation of 30–35%. The deposited metal exhibits outstanding toughness and resistance to intergranular corrosion, ensuring high-quality welds that are perfect for both flat and horizontal positions in stainless steel fabrication.
Available in sizes from 0.8mm to 1.6mm, offers excellent corrosion resistance. Ideal for welding stainless steel with superior arc stability and weld quality.
Ranging from 0.8mm to 1.6mm, provides reliable corrosion resistance. Suitable for welding stainless steel without the need for additional shielding gases.
Available in sizes from 0.8mm to 1.6mm, ensures superior corrosion resistance. Ideal for high-quality welding of stainless steel with consistent performance.
AWS Class E308LT1-1/T1-4 Flux Core Wire is extensively employed in high corrosion-resistant industries like food processing, pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals, and marine engineering. It is particularly suitable for welding structural components, piping systems, pressure vessels, and storage tanks made of 304L stainless steel. The wire is heavily utilized in chemical processing plants, offshore platforms, and heat exchangers because of its oxidation and corrosion resistance. Its excellent weldability and smooth arc performance qualify it for service in sanitary applications, such as dairy, beverage, and pharmaceutical manufacturing, where resistance to contamination is critical.
AWS Class E308LT1-1/T1-4 Flux Core Wire is extensively utilized for welding 304 and 304L stainless steels in industries that demand exceptional corrosion and heat resistance. Typical applications include food processing equipment, pressure vessels, chemical and petrochemical facilities, marine structures, and architectural fabrications. It’s also well-suited for maintenance and repair tasks on stainless components that face high temperatures or corrosive conditions. The wire’s smooth arc characteristics and minimal spatter make it ideal for automated or semi-automatic welding processes, ensuring consistent weld quality every time.
