The Dairy Tees consist of low carbon and controlled alloy polished stainless steel (usually 304L or 316L grade food-grade) resistant to pitting, corrosion and sensitization in sanitary use. Major mechanical properties are tensile strength at about 550-600 MPa, yield strength of about 300-350 MPa and elongation at about 30-35%, grade depending. The components have smooth interior finishes (e.g., Ra ≤ 0.8 µm) and uniform wall thickness for durability and cleaning ease. These mechanical and surface characteristics provide long service life, low risk of contamination and compatibility with milk and other food-product handling systems.
