Stainless steel bolts vary in magnetism due to their composition and heat treatment. Austenitic stainless steels (e.g., 304, 316) are non-magnetic, while martensitic and ferritic types (e.g., 410, 430) are magnetic.

Kyaw Stainless is a top-quality stainless steel manufacturer and supplier based in Naypyidaw, Myanmar. With expertise in corrosion-resistant and long-lasting solutions, the firm provides a vast array of stainless steel bolts, fasteners and industrial parts for different purposes. Committed to precision engineering and high-class craftsmanship, Kyaw Stainless guarantees each product to fulfill industry standards in terms of strength and reliability. Their stainless steel bolts are high-performance in tough environments and therefore, perfect for construction, automotive, marine and manufacturing applications. With years of experience and a customer-oriented philosophy, Kyaw Stainless is an industry-trusted name.
Stainless steel bolts are mostly made of iron, with some percentages of chromium (10-20%) nickel, molybdenum and carbon content which make them more resistant to corrosion, strong and durable. The most widely available grades are 304 and 316 stainless steel with 316 providing better corrosion resistance to harsh environments with increased molybdenum content. The bolts have very good mechanical properties, such as high tensile strength (usually 515-860 MPa), good ductility and resistance to oxidation and high or low temperatures. They also offer high resistance to fatigue and toughness, so they are perfect for structural, marine, and industrial use. Their non-magnetic and self-healing oxide layer also improves longevity and reliability in harsh conditions.

Kyaw Stainless, Stainless Steel Bolts are stringently tested for ultimate quality, strength and resistance to corrosion. Every bolt is tensile strength-tested, hardness-tested and durability-tested under harsh conditions. They comply with international specifications like ASTM, DIN and ISO, so they can be relied upon for critical applications. Approved for use in industry, marine and structures, Kyaw bolts are provided with material test certificates (MTC), ensuring traceability and conformity. Precision engineering and rigid quality control ensure that they are suitable for extreme environments.
Stainless steel bolts vary in magnetism due to their composition and heat treatment. Austenitic stainless steels (e.g., 304, 316) are non-magnetic, while martensitic and ferritic types (e.g., 410, 430) are magnetic.
Most stainless steel bolts are weakly magnetic or non-magnetic, depending on the alloy. Austenitic stainless steels (304, 316) are mostly non-magnetic, while martensitic and ferritic types can be magnetic.
Stainless steel bolts in grades 410, 416, 420, 431, and 17-4 PH are magnetic due to their martensitic structure. Some 300-series (e.g., 304, 316) can be weakly magnetic after cold working.
Yes, stainless steel bolts can lose magnetism over time due to temperature changes, mechanical stress, or phase transformation, especially in austenitic grades, which are initially non-magnetic but may become weakly magnetic.
Stainless steel bolts are popularly applied in numerous industries because of their hardness, resistance to corrosion, and longevity. They are generally applied in construction, shipbuilding, auto and aviation industries where there is exposure to water and harsh conditions. In the food and pharmaceutical sectors, stainless steel bolts provide cleanliness and avoid contamination. They are also employed in bridges, mechanical equipment and home appliances because of their dependability and visual attractiveness. Their corrosion resistance makes them perfect for outdoor buildings pipelines and chemical processing facilities. Also stainless steel bolts are the choice in renewable energy projects, including wind turbines and solar panels.
