The higher carbon content enhances tensile and yield strength while improving heat resistance and oxidation stability. Mechanically, these bolts exhibit a tensile strength of about 515 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, and elongation of 40%. They also offer exceptional toughness, hardness, and creep strength, maintaining performance under continuous service at temperatures up to 870°C.
