Stainless Steel 304 Valves are composed of chromium (18–20%) and nickel (8–12%) as primary alloying elements, with carbon (≤0.08%), manganese (≤2%), silicon (≤1%), phosphorus (≤0.045%), and sulfur (≤0.03%) as minor additions. This balanced composition ensures excellent corrosion resistance, formability, and weldability. Mechanically, Stainless Steel 304 offers a tensile strength of about 515 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, and elongation of 40%. The alloy maintains its toughness and ductility across a wide temperature range, providing dependable performance in both cryogenic and elevated-temperature conditions.
