Stainless Steel 309S Pipe Fittings mainly consist of chromium (22–24%), nickel (12–15%), and carbon (≤0.08%), along with trace amounts of manganese (≤2%), silicon (≤1%), phosphorus (≤0.045%), and sulfur (≤0.03%). The high levels of chromium and nickel in the alloy provide exceptional oxidation and corrosion resistance, while the low carbon content enhances weldability and minimizes carbide precipitation. These fittings demonstrate a tensile strength of around 515 MPa, a yield strength of 205 MPa, and an elongation of 40%. They also maintain excellent structural stability, toughness, and resistance to thermal fatigue even at elevated temperatures.
