The composition of Stainless Steel 439 Sheets and Plates includes iron, 17–19% chromium, and small amounts of titanium, manganese, and silicon, with very low carbon content. This ferritic stainless steel alloy is known for its outstanding resistance to corrosion and oxidation, especially in exhaust gas environments. It offers moderate tensile strength, good thermal conductivity, and enhanced formability. With a great balance of strength and flexibility, Stainless Steel 439 is also easier to weld and shows stability against intergranular corrosion, making it a go-to choice for high-temperature and oxidizing applications.
