The 316L variant has a lower carbon content (≤0.03%) for improved weldability. Their mechanical properties include a tensile strength of 515 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, and elongation of 40%, ensuring excellent durability. Physically, they have a density of 8.0 g/cm³, a melting point of 1370-1400°C, and a thermal conductivity of 16.3 W/m·K, making them highly resistant to corrosion, high temperatures, and pressure in demanding industrial applications.
